Majority of Democratic Voters Now Prefer Socialism to Capitalism
A new Fox News poll showed that more Democrats favor socialism over capitalism, in a sharp reversal from just a year and a half ago.
The poll, taken between Aug. 7-10, showed that 59% of registered Democratic voters who participated had a positive view of socialism, compared to just 49% who felt that way about capitalism.
In February 2020, when the question was last asked, 50% of Democrats who participated said they had a favorable view of capitalism, with just 40% saying the same about socialism.
Self avowed socialist, Bernie Sanders, chair of the Senate Budget Committee, has been leading a charge to pass a $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill that he says is aimed at addressing wealth inequality.
The bill provides tuition free community college and pre-k as well as massive expansions in the Medicare system that Sanders believes will help pave the way to Universal Governmet Healthcare.

This image was recently distributed to financial advisors in one of America’s larges investment firms. Here’s a question that needs to be answered – If the government forces equality of outcome, then how exactly is there room for any market? These virtue signaling elitists need to understand that they are ushering in their own economic demise, let alone that of their employees and the clients they serve.

Smithsonian Institution explains that ‘rationality’ & ‘hard work’ are racist. (FROM 2020)
“A 2020 National Association of Colleges and Employers poll found that four in five employers expected job applicants to exhibit a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a team, and analytical thinking skills. If one asks parents — of any race — what values they want their kids to learn, more than four out of five will similarly name concepts like “hard work,” “being well-mannered,” and “being responsible.” In fact, black parents are one to three percent more likely than white parents to think traits like “hard work,” “being well-mannered,” and “persistence” are “important to teach children.” – From the American Enterprise Institute.
Here’s the main lesson – Free markets are overwhelmingly responsible for the ease and speed at which ideas move and thanks to people have the freedom to spend their money on a new product or save their money until something better comes along the best ideas on the planet have always risen to the top resulting in life changing products that have helped everyday people change the world.
Sometimes people use free markets to make themselves wealthy all they while their activities have still created jobs for untold numbers of people (Jef Bezos, Elon Musk, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Henry Ford etc). Sometimes people put ideas into action with the goal of helping others find economic mobility or just survive their poverty with more comfort than they previously had (TOMS shoes “We’re in business to improve lives).
Freedom has done more this world than any other system in the history of mankind.

Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani is facing pressure from Afganistan politicians to resign so a new transitional leader can help stem the violence and prevent the Taliban from taking the entire country.
WSJ reports “As a historic responsibility, I am trying to not let the war that has been imposed on the Afghan people cause the further killing of innocents, the loss of 20 years of achievement, the destruction of public institutions and longstanding instability,” Mr. Ghani said in a two-minute-and-39-second-long video message that he released on social media, the country’s flag unfurled behind him.
Mr. Ghani, who has come under growing pressure from Afghan politicians to resign so that a transitional government headed by someone else could negotiate a cease-fire with the Taliban and prevent the storming of Kabul, gave no indication in the recording that he intends to do so, at least not immediately.”
My thoughts: Afghanistan is a country of tribes that each believe that are not united around a nation heritage. It would be incredibly difficult if not impossible for even an Afghani to unite them. Although America has had tremendous success over the centuries bringing people from all across the planet together under the flag of the United States, not everyone is interested in our values. Why do we keep thinking we can impose our national values of unity on people that prefer to live a tribal way of life? Is this the role of conquers in war and has it EVER worked?

Arnold Schwartzenegger talking with disgraced Col. Alex Vindman who was fired from the Nation Security Council after President Trumps acquittal, and Bianna Golodryga the senior global affairs analyst at CNN.
Not a single one of these three has any expertise in viral infections or the effectiveness of wearing a piece of cloth over your face to stop you from getting sick. They each however appear to have complete trust in only those politicians that that are driving this country to the left.

So what about the experts that disagree? Are they only experts if their conclusion reinforces the bias you already have?

The law will raise Missouri’s gas tax by 2.5 cents per year until it reaches 29.5 cents per gallon in 2025.
