Finish: Give Yourself the Gift of Done

Finish: Give Yourself the Gift of Done

Pulled quote- “I’ve never had a problem starting. I’ve started a million things, but I never finish them. Why can’t I finish?”

This isn’t the motivational gusto type of book that sells itself by making you think you just need to be a harder more disciplined person. This book gives practical ideas on how to help you accomplish your goals, even if it takes longer than expected and even if you have to adjust your path to get to the finish line. It’s an honest look at people and the barriers we build that all too often, and unnecessarily, keep us from doing the things we set out to do.

Reading this book helped me understand some of the barriers I’ve encountered to finishing projects that I’ve started. I’ve also come to adopt some rules that have allowed me to get more done. Rules like being OK with the fact that I don’t somethings done on my original timeline and its important to pick up where I left off and make a little more progress.

If you want to start finishing things you set out to do or start getting more done than you normally do, this book offers practical understanding of how you can get there.
